Erin has a lifelong interest in stories, which begun in hearing family legends and traditional folk tales as a child. She is particularly fascinated with the connections between stories, places and landscapes, and how important these traditions are in the modern world. Her love of landscape legends brought her to Orkney for the first time in 2011, and since then it has not been able to get rid of her. As well as storytelling, Erin works with oral history, reminiscence, archives and local history.
