Fran O’Boyle is a world class storyteller who has been performing at festivals of all kinds, arts centres, schools, libraries
and museums all over the UK and abroad for many years.
Based in Shropshire, England with an Irish background, his stories are mainly made up of myths, legends and anecdotes from both of those heritages and is happy to tell them in both English and Irish Gaelic.
He is happy working with all ages, from children as young as five to the most ancient of ancient adults and has recently been busy putting together a collection of yarns and tales for grown up audiences that have been told to him by the listeners he has met at performances over the years. He retells them, when required, as a set called Tall And True Tales.
